5.25" Bay Adaptor Tray Compatibility

This tray is universal - it isn't tied to a specific PC brand or model. Compatibility depends only on bay type and drive type.

Case Compatibility
Fits any desktop PC case with a free, unused external 5.25-inch bay (the type originally used for optical/DVD drives) - including full tower, mid tower and most micro-ATX cases with a 5.25-inch opening.
  • 2x adjacent 5.25" bays needed with the cooling fan fitted
  • 1x 5.25" bay needed with the cooling fan removed
Drive Compatibility
  • 3.5" HDD - secured with the included 6-32 UNC screws
  • 2.5" HDD or SSD - secured with the included M3 screws
One drive per tray - holds either one 3.5" drive or one 2.5" drive, not both at once.
Cooling Fan Power
A 12cm (120mm) 12V sleeve-bearing fan is pre-fitted and included. It can be powered from a 3-pin motherboard fan header or a 4-pin Molex connector from the PSU.
