Synology 12-Pin + 8-Pin Adaptor - Compatibility Video

This short video gives you a closer look at our Synology 12-pin + 8-pin adaptor cable - the connectors on both ends and the cable build, shown on a turntable from every angle.

The adaptor connects to the SATA and 2x Molex outputs of any standard PSU and converts them into the proprietary 12-pin and 8-pin power connectors used by Synology NAS models such as the DS1512+, DS1812+, DS1515+, DS1815+, RS814+ and RS815+. It uses UL1007 18AWG cable, is 22cm long, and needs no soldering or modification.
